NBA legend Charles Barkley told a story that is sure to go viral. When being in the studio to cover the March Madness, he praised the guys that are responsible for washing players uniforms.
That’s because, according to him, back in his day the players used to shower with their uniforms on in order to wash them for the game the next day.
“It’s so much stuff that goes into this. Shout out to all the trainers also and the guys who do all the uniforms. They get these uniforms cleaned up and everything,” Barkley said.
“I mean, I’m so old, we used to take a shower in our uniforms… because we flew commercial my first few years… When I first got to the NBA we flew commercial. So when you played the night before and flew the next morning where were you exactly going to get your uniform cleaned?
“You had to wash your uniform yourself. So, after the game when you got to your robe, you took a shower in your uniform and dried it and dropped it on a commercial airline the next day.”
